Lemieux Armour-Tek Fly Rug

Lightweight Fly Protection

The Lemieux Armour-Tek Fly Rug offers lightweight protection for warm-weather days. It features 70% UVA blocking to help shield your horse from harmful sunlight. Meanwhile, the innovative micro mesh creates a close, second-skin fit. This breathable layer helps keep flies and bugs away without adding unnecessary weight. In addition, the fabric supports airflow around the body. As a result, your horse can stay more comfortable while spending time outdoors. The technical design also helps regulate body temperature. Therefore, it makes an excellent choice for turnout during warmer conditions when effective fly defence matters.

Freedom to Move

The Lemieux Armour-Tek Fly Rug features a patented two-part skirt. This clever design reduces tension around the hemline. Consequently, your horse has greater freedom to move while grazing, walking or playing. The extended belly flap also provides enhanced coverage underneath the horse. It includes a three-strap surcingle for a secure fit. Plus, the central strap can detach when needed. An antibacterial and anti-static lining helps enhance your horse's natural coat shine. It also supports the rug's ability to self-right. Furthermore, the 45° angled T-bar front closure spreads pressure evenly. This helps reduce rubbing across the chest and shoulders.

Enhanced Coverage

For additional protection, the Lemieux Armour-Tek Fly Rug features an extra-long tail flap. The elasticated, PVC-coated fillet strap helps keep the flap securely in place. As a result, it offers extra coverage around the rear of your horse. The detachable neck provides another layer of protection when required. It also includes a lined mane panel for added comfort. Therefore, you can adjust the level of coverage to suit changing conditions. Combined with the lightweight construction and breathable micro mesh, this rug provides practical protection throughout the warmer months. It is a smart choice for horses that need dependable defence from flies and sun.
