Lemieux Shower-Tek Fly Rug

Lemieux Shower-Tek Fly Rug – Hybrid Protection

The Lemieux Shower-Tek Fly Rug offers smart protection when the weather cannot make up its mind. This innovative hybrid design combines waterproof coverage with lightweight fly protection. The durable 600 Denier diamond ripstop topline shields your horse’s back from rain and sun. It also blocks 70% of UVA rays to help reduce sun bleaching. Meanwhile, the seamless spine allows the rug to self-right in the field. As a result, your horse stays protected without feeling restricted. The breathable design also helps maintain comfort throughout the day. Therefore, it makes an excellent choice for changeable summer weather.

Lightweight & Breathable Design

The lower section features lightweight micromesh that creates a reliable barrier against flies and other irritating bugs. At the same time, the breathable fabric encourages airflow around your horse’s body. This helps prevent your horse from feeling overheated during warmer weather. The Lemieux Shower-Tek Fly Rug also features a design-registered 45° angled T-bar front closure. This clever fastening distributes pressure across the front of the rug. Consequently, it helps reduce rubbing around the point of the shoulder and across the chest. The extended, shaped belly flap provides additional coverage. Plus, its three-strap closure includes a detachable central strap for a flexible fit.

Freedom of Movement & Extra Coverage

The patented two-part skirt creates a break in the hemline, which helps relieve tension around your horse’s body. Therefore, your horse can move freely and comfortably while grazing or playing in the field. The extended belly flap further improves coverage and protection. In addition, the lightweight neck cover provides optional extra protection when needed. You can easily detach it when your horse requires less coverage. The contoured waterproof mane panel also helps protect this sensitive area from wet weather. Overall, the rug combines clever design, weather protection and breathable comfort. It provides versatile coverage for unpredictable summer conditions
